The daughter of an artist, I grew up outside of New York City, where I was exposed to the arts at a very young age. I attended art and music classes as a child, including College for Kids in upstate New York. It was there I learned to draw and paint and make stained glass and developed my own passion for art of all forms.
I went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in printmaking from the University of Florida, and a Master of Fine Arts in painting from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
I have worked as a graphic artist, and also taught drawing in elementary school. These days you can find me in my home studio, where I work primarily in mosaics.
An avid runner, collector, dog lover and cancer survivor, I live in Northern California with my husband, rescue dog Fin, and the pink plastic flamingos that keep showing up on my lawn.
